The Vunamo openings tool helps you manage penetrations for pipes, ducts and cable trays through walls and floors in Revit. Check Openings is the central review function.
Select a 3D view or installation plan, structural links and opening families. For each actual intersection, the tool checks family, shape, position, dimensions, depth and rotation. Results include Missing, Too small, Wrong shape and Not checked.
Inspect an intersection in 3D and place one opening from the results list using the selected margin and optional PVC size. A fresh check for existing openings helps prevent duplicates. Check again afterwards or export the action list to Excel.
Place openings in a batch using your own or a linked model. Reposition existing openings, fill building section, element code and date, pin by status, merge round openings into a rectangular opening and change type by structural engineer status.
Coming soon
The check follows the visibility and boundaries of the selected view. ‘No problems found’ applies to the checked area, not automatically to the entire project. Coming soon; supported Revit versions will be announced at release.
